Introduction

Hawaii is a destination that never ceases to amaze and delight visitors with its diverse and vibrant culture, natural beauty, and aloha spirit. One of the best ways to experience the essence of Hawaii is to attend one of its many festivals that showcase its rich history, traditions, music, dance, art, cuisine, and more. Whether you are looking for a family-friendly event, a romantic getaway, or a cultural immersion, there are Hawaiian festivals for you to go to in 2023.

Honolulu Festival

The Honolulu Festival is one of Hawaii's largest and most popular events, attracting thousands of people worldwide yearly. The festival celebrates the cultural diversity and harmony of Hawaii and the Pacific Rim region with performances, demonstrations, exhibits, parades, fireworks, concerts and more. The festival occurs in various venues across Honolulu, such as the Hawaii Convention Center, Ala Moana Center, Waikiki Beach Walk, and Kapiolani Park.
The 27th annual Honolulu Festival will be held from March 10th (Friday) to 12th (Sunday), 2023.

Some of the highlights of the festival include:
  • The Friendship Gala is a fundraising event that features cuisine from Hawaii’s top chefs and cultural entertainment from various countries.
  • The Grand Parade is a colorful procession of floats, marching bands, dancers, and performers along Kalakaua Avenue in Waikiki.
