Craving a unique Hawaiian experience that’s all about fun, food, and community? The Waikiki SPAM Jam is back for its 21st year, and it’s happening on Saturday, April 26, 2025, from 4:00 PM to 10:00 PM along Kalākaua Avenue in the heart of Waikiki. This iconic block party celebrates Hawaii’s love for SPAM with creative dishes, live entertainment, and a vibrant street fair vibe. Named one of the Top Ten Best Cultural Festivals by USA Today, it’s a must-do for locals and visitors alike!

What’s Cooking at the Waikiki SPAM Jam:
Get ready for a SPAM-tastic evening! Kalākaua Avenue transforms into a lively festival with dozens of local restaurants serving up innovative SPAM dishes. Think SPAM fried noodles, SPAM sliders, SPAM nachos, SPAM desserts, and even SPAM pho—there’s something for every taste. With Hawaii consuming nearly 7 million cans of SPAM a year, this festival showcases why it’s a local staple, enjoyed at breakfast, lunch, and dinner. You’ll also find live music on multiple stages, local craft vendors, and a SPAM-themed popup shop with exclusive festival merch like tumblers and bags from Eden in Love.

The SPAM Jam isn’t just about food—it’s a fundraiser for the community. Bring a canned good to donate at one of the two Hawaii Foodbank tents, and you’ll be helping those in need while entering a chance to win round-trip tickets from Southwest Airlines, a proud partner of the event. Proceeds also support the Waikīkī Community Center and the Visitor Aloha Society of Hawai‘i, making it a feel-good celebration.

Why We Love This Festival:
The Waikiki SPAM Jam is a one-of-a-kind event that captures Hawaii’s unique love for SPAM, a tradition since its introduction in 1937. It’s been a cultural staple for over 20 years, evolving into a family-friendly street festival that draws SPAM fans from around the world. From the live entertainment to the creative eats, it’s a celebration of flavors and aloha spirit. Plus, the festival’s commitment to giving back—supporting local charities like the Hawaii Foodbank—adds heart to the fun.
